At LHCC, we seek to draw students into a closer relationship with Jesus Christ by encouraging and equipping them to live out their faith in a real and vibrant way.

This is accomplished by providing them with the opportunities to experience authentic worship, grow through discipleship with leaders, and serve in the surrounding community.

 

In all we do, our focus is to love God and love others through the relationships we have with them, following the example Jesus set forth for us in his earthly ministry and leading them into a deeper understanding of His love.

Please join us for our youth activities on Sunday morning and Wednesday night.

 

On Sunday morning at 10:30, the youth meet with the rest of the church for worship, announcements, a time of prayer, and an short exhortation from one of the church members.  Then we branch off and meet in the Youth Room for our own Bible study.  Currently we are going through the life of David, a character whose life is an incredible example to us of a "man after God's own heart".

 

The format is usually open and shared discussion of one chapter at a time as we look at David's life and seek to make application of his story to our own, learning from both his triumphs and mistakes.

On Wednesday nights the youth meet from 7:00 to 8:30 in the Youth Room. Our goal here is to provide a safe place for youth to come and hang out, have fun, play games, eat food, build relationships, and learn about the incredible love that Jesus Christ has for them!

 

We have an awesome adult volunteer staff who are dedicated to reaching out and spending time with young people, showing love and being a part of their lives. There's always room for more so come check us out!
